Smarty Pants® Youth and Family Market Research Consultancy Adds Dr. Kara Liebeskind

NEW YORK – June 5, 2017 – Smarty Pants announced today that children’s media expert Dr. Kara Liebeskind has joined the organization as a manager. In this new role, Liebeskind leads initiatives for several of the company’s top entertainment, healthcare and CPG clients.

Liebeskind joins Smarty Pants from PlayScience, where she applied her research talents to organizations such as Sesame Workshop, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Prior to PlayScience, Liebeskind held positions at PBS (Ready to Learn), Sesame Workshop, the Center on Media and Child Health, and the Annenberg Children’s Media Lab.

Liebeskind earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from Georgetown University and her Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania. She is based in Philadelphia and can be reached at
