Smarty Pants® Youth and Family Market Research Consultancy Adds Mara Kaufman

New York – December 14, 2017 – Smarty Pants announced today that Mara Kaufman has joined the organization as an “Insights Brainiac.” In this position, Kaufman plays an integral role in the execution and analysis of custom qualitative and quantitative research initiatives. Her work spans Smarty Pants’ key media, retail, tech and CPG clients.

Additionally, Kaufman serves as a core member of Smarty Pants’ syndicated research team. Leveraging her cross-category trend expertise, she has co-authored several of the company’s syndicated research reports.

Prior to Smarty Pants, Kaufman was a senior manager at Carat, where she supported the General Motors account. She began her career as a media buyer at Mediavest, serving clients such as Walmart, Sprint, Mars and Wrigley—first in NYC and then in Sydney, Australia.

Kaufman graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University with a BA in psychology. She holds a master’s degree in social and consumer psychology from NYU. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
