Smarty Pants® Market Research Consultancy Promotes Laura Munroe to Senior Director

JOHNSON CITY, TN – May 18th, 2020 – Smarty Pants announced today that Laura Munroe was recently promoted to the role of senior director. This is the second promotion for Munroe who joined the research and consulting firm as a senior manager in 2013.

Munroe leads a team of qualitative and quantitative researchers that guides innovation and marketing efforts for leading clients such as Target, Mattel and Aetna. In recent years, Laura has led a broad range of initiatives to reveal game-changing insights—from holiday shopping dynamics, to household health and wellness, to the impact of COVID-19 on consumer lifestyles, attitudes and behaviors.

Munroe began her career as an associate community manager at Boston-based C Space
(formerly Communispace). Prior to her departure from the digital research firm, Munroe had
risen to become an onsite research consultant based in Bentonville, AR, serving one of the
world’s largest retailers. It was there that she recognized her passion for connecting consumer
insight to business strategy.

Graduating summa cum laude, Munroe holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western
New England University. She is based in Tampa, FL.
