Smarty Pants Research Consultancy Adds Tom Foreman

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm announced today that it has hired Nashville-based Tom Foreman as an associate level “Insights Prodigy.” Foreman is among more than two dozen new professionals added to the full-service consultancy’s talent roster in 2021.

Foreman serves a key support role on qualitative, quantitative and hybrid research across categories and consumer segments. His work for Smarty Pants’ largest toy, retail, entertainment and food clients ranges from recruit management to data quality control to development of final deliverables.

“Tom is a wonderful addition to our growing team. He is passionate about market research and client service and full of consumer empathy. His contributions consistently make our client work stronger,” adds Smarty Pants senior director, Emily Young.
Before Smarty Pants, Foreman spent time at Schlesinger Group conducting interviews for national clinical studies in the healthcare space. Prior, he served as a market research intern at Music Row 411, a singer/songwriter marketing agency, where he co-created a global survey to uncover insights into what drives musicians and conducted a foundational analysis of the e-gaming industry.
Tom is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing and a minor in sales. During his time at MTSU, he also obtained Dale Carnegie and IGNITE certifications in leadership and professional development and served as president of the university’s DECA club, a student organization that prepares leaders for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.
