JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm announced today that Amanda Allen has joined the organization as an “Insights Whiz” supporting the company’s key food & beverage, toy & game, and entertainment clients. Allen is among 30 new research professionals added to the consultancy in the last 12 months.

Allen was most recently a senior market research consultant at PNC Bank, where
she led primary research across various lines of business, including investments,
small business banking, and the PNC brand. Prior, she served as a research associate for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Earlier in her career, Allen was a project analyst at Pittsburgh’s Community Care Behavioral Health Organization and a quantitative research manager at Scottsdale, Arizona based Newristics, a messaging optimization firm based in behavioral science and artificial intelligence.

Allen earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from Robert Morris University and a Master of Arts in Research Methodology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
