Smarty Pants Research Consultancy Adds Emily Arbour

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm announced today that Emily Arbour has joined the company as an “Insights Guru.” She is among 12 new research professionals added to the firm’s growing talent roster in the first quarter of 2021.

Arbour brings deep qualitative and quantitative research experience to her managerial role. From segmentation and sensory testing to consumer journeys and creative refinement, Arbour guides Smarty Pants’ CPG, toy and entertainment clients as she applies talents honed during time spent on both the agency and corporate sides of business.

Prior to Smarty Pants, Arbour led brand strategy and product innovation research for more than seven years as Associate Director of Brand Strategy & Insights at Community Coffee Company. She managed the innovation program to ensure continued growth and consumer-centered product evolution.
Arbour began her marketing career as an intern at Brooklyn-based Big Spaceship, followed by a two-year stint in account management at Peter Mayer Advertising in New Orleans. She then served as a strategic planner on the Decision Sciences team at The Martin Agency in Richmond, Virginia.
Arbour holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and a Master of Mass Communication
with a focus on advertising research from Louisiana State University. As an undergraduate, she was named the LSU Student Employee of the Year, and as a graduate student she was awarded a full graduate assistantship to manage consumer research, eye tracking and gaming studies for the LSU Media Lab.
