Smarty Pants Research Consultancy Adds Amberly Lerner as Associate

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm announced today that Amberly Lerner has been added to the company’s growing roster as an “Insights Prodigy.” Lerner is among 19 new professionals added to the firm this year.

Lerner is a magna cum laude graduate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications. Among her academic accolades, Lerner was named a Commonwealth Honors College Scholar with Greatest Distinction for her senior thesis on Asian American representation in Netflix original programming.

Prior to joining Smarty Pants in early 2021, Lerner conducted user experience research for Envestnet, a fintech company headquartered in Chicago. In her role there, she crafted usability test scripts, analyzed survey data, and produced client deliverables.
Lerner now serves at Smarty Pants as an associate-level “Insights Prodigy” who supports all phases of custom research from recruitment to final report and video creation. She is also a member of Smarty Pants’ IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Academy) where she actively educates colleagues and clients on issues related to diversity and inclusion and how they apply to research practices.
