Alejandro Hernandez Joins Smarty Pants Research Consultancy

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm has added Chicago-based Alejandro Hernandez as an “Insights Whiz.” Hernandez is among 19 new professionals hired by the full-service consultancy in the first half of 2021.

As a research analyst, Hernandez supports both qualitative and quantitative research initiatives for Smarty Pants’ largest toy, retail, video game, footwear and healthcare clients. His work ranges from managing virtual indepth interviews, to conducting in-store research across the country, to
mining data to craft insights-driven deliverables.

Prior to joining Smarty Pants in early 2021, Hernandez spent six years in the non-profit sector. His first positions were with Chicago House and Social Service Agency, which empowers persons living with or vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. He then served as the marketing & communications manager at Esperanza Health Centers – a network of clinics that provides bilingual primary care and wellness services to Chicago’s underserved communities.

Hernandez earned his bachelor’s degree in communication studies with high honors from Northwestern University.
