Smarty Pants Research Consultancy Adds Sara Cruz

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm has hired New York-based Sara Cruz as its newest research analyst. Cruz is one of 24 new professionals added to the full-service consultancy in 2021.

As “Insights Whiz,” Cruz serves as key support across qualitative, quantitative and hybrid research for clients in retail, toy & game and food & beverage. Her contributions include screener and survey development, fieldwork, data analysis and crafting impactful story-driven deliverable that drive business growth.

Prior to Smarty Pants, Cruz was a research analyst at Research & Marketing Strategies, Inc. conducting initiatives across healthcare, manufacturing, insurance and arts industries. She began her career as a project manager for a boutique firm where she was responsible for budgeting, leading interviews and developing marketing materials. She went on to be an education coordinator for a non-profit agency prior to becoming a high-performance coach who trained on productivity, energy, leadership, communication and relationships.

Cruz graduated summa cum laude from Saint Leo University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She later earned a Master of Science in Psychology and specialization in Leadership Psychology from Capella University. Cruz also holds certifications in Project Management and High Performance Coaching.
Cruz is based in Syracuse, New York.
