Nadia Bernal Joins Smarty Pants Research Consultancy

JOHNSON CITY, TN – Smarty Pants market research and strategic consulting firm has added quantitative analyst Nadia Bernal to its growing talent roster. As an “Insights Whiz” Bernal specializes in custom fieldwork, quality control and data analytics. Her skills are applied across methods ranging from longitudinal studies to customer journey mapping to advanced analytics.

Bernal has experience conducting research for educational institutions, utility services,
government agencies and the corporate sector. Most recently, Bernal was a junior analyst at Palo Alto-based Pacific Consulting Group (PCG). Her multi-mode research clients included the IRS,
National Park Service, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and private educational institutions.

Prior to PCG, Bernal flexed her numbers savvy and analytic skills as a Deposits Supervisor and Financial Aid & Scholarships Advisor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She has also held internships at the Chabot Space & Science Center and Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) – serving as an awareness and membership liaison with Spanish-speakers for the former and a voter registration advocate with Asian American and Pacific Islander community members for the latter.
Bernal earned a B.A. with Honors in Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz, where she minored in Statistics and Latin American Studies. In 2020, she completed courses in Data Analysis and Emerging Methods & The Future of Research at the University of Georgia.
