Smarty Pants, LLC opened its virtual doors in Norwalk, CT, on January 3, 2005, as a boutique research shop specializing in youth and family audiences. The company’s founders set out to create an organization steeped in rigor without rigidity, collaboration without co-location, and professional success without personal sacrifice.

Today, the woman- and minority-owned firm conducts multicultural and intergenerational research in 90 countries.
