Elizabeth (aka “Beth”) is a curious and creative researcher who has always been fascinated by how people think and why they do the things they do. Market research was her natural career choice, as it allows her to experience those “a-ha” moments and use her gifts to drive business decisions.​

Beth knew she had found her professional home when she discovered Smarty Pants. Likewise, when she joined the organization as an Insights Brainiac in early 2022, we knew we’d found a “keeper”.

In her Know-It-All role, Beth applies her leadership, analytic and creative skills to custom research projects in the retail, CPG, entertainment, technology and healthcare industries. She is a quant-leaning, soup-to-nuts practitioner who does everything from questionnaire design, sample selection and survey programming to data collection, quality assurance, analysis and reporting. ​

Beth is seasoned and highly adept in multiple methodologies and study types, including A&U’s, concept tests, IHUTs, segmentation studies and brand tracking.

Clients and colleagues love her easygoing style and highly effective, efficient processes. And, her creative wizardry when it’s time for data visualization and storytelling is simply amazing. ​

Beth has more than 13 years of experience as a research project manager, data analyst and client relationship builder.

Beth began her market research career at NPD working on the firm’s flagship syndicated report for the restaurant industry. From there she moved into brand and ad tracking at Synovate (now Ipsos), guiding studies for leading brands across categories. Beth later spent three years as a senior project manager at iThink and two years in a similar role at Research Now. ​

During her impressive career, Beth has earned awards for both client service and training development – namely Most Valuable Project Manager and Most Helpful Project Manager.

education

Beth holds a B.S. in communication with a concentration in psychology from Northwestern University. She was the Director of Public Relations for A&O Productions, Northwestern’s student-run organization responsible for bringing live entertainment to campus. It was this role that ignited her love for creating visually appealing materials with clear and impactful writing. ​

Currently residing just outside of Dallas, TX, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, completing home projects and volunteering. She’s also a self-taught cake decorator who dreams of someday being on a cake competition show​

  • Was Secretary of the Tennessee Junior Classical League (aka Latin Club) during high school​
  • Loves Bigfoot and named her small dog Yeti​

  • Was voted Most Influential as her senior superlative, which was fitting seeing as she earned it, in part, by simply suggesting people vote for her​
