Insights Whiz

New York, NY

Sabrina joined the Smarty Pants team in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of expertise in child development, kids’ media, education and marketing. She continues to thrive as a qualitative researcher, adapting her expertise to the dynamic landscape of children’s media and contributing valuable insights to Smarty Pants’ strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 partners.

As an Insights Whiz, Sabrina partners with Smarty Pants managers and directors, spearheading research setup, adeptly moderating sessions, conducting thorough data analysis, and developing comprehensive reports to support leading toy manufacturers and clients such as Netflix, PBS KIDS and DoorDash. Whether recruiting teachers, crafting insightful topline reports or hosting a live webinar all about preschoolers, Sabrina plays an invaluable role on her client teams.

Sabrina was promoted from Research Prodigy to Insights Whiz after her first year. Yes, she’s a real smarty pants.

Prior, Sabrina worked as a preschool assistant teacher in a classroom of three and four-year-olds. She loved asking them questions to explore how their minds worked and how they saw the world. In fact, she’s always been a curious and active learner. At age three, she “forced” her mom to teach her to read, and by age five was requesting “homework” packets.

Throughout college, Sabrina held summer internships in marketing. She was a public relations intern, a digital marketing coordinator, a social media intern and a marketing assistant. These experiences allowed her access to the inner workings of product development and marketing across numerous categories and gave her exposure to prominent clients such as Roxy and McDonald’s.

Sabrina graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Media and Communication and Women’s and Gender Studies. She received honors in Media and Communication for her thesis “Figuring It Out with You All the Way: Understanding the Evolution of Girl Power Media on Disney Channel Through Analysis of Lizzie McGuire and Andi Mack.” Sabrina also served as the VP of Marketing for the university’s Alpha Chi Omega chapter.

Born and bred in NYC, Sabrina still calls Manhattan home. In her spare time, she loves trying out new restaurants that satisfy her love of spicy foods and taking on new creative projects. She recently taught herself to sew and has been upcycling clothes into new pieces. Impressive!
