smarty pants research and consulting adds hannah hutchinson

NEW YORK – Smarty Pants market research consultancy announced today that Hannah Hutchinson has joined the organization as an analyst level “Insights Whiz.” She is among six new hires made by the growing firm this quarter.

Hutchinson plays a pivotal support role with Smarty Pants client partners in the children’s toy, food & beverage, and media sectors. Her purview includes planning and execution of qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method research as well as insights development and trend identification.

On Hutchinson’s hire, Smarty Pants Insights Genius Emily Arbour comments, “Hannah is a smart, savvy researcher with experience working across a variety of methodologies. Her diverse background and passion for kids’ research make her a perfect fit for Smarty Pants. Hutchinson was most recently a senior associate at Material+ in NYC, where she specialized in qualitative and quantitative research for Fortune 500 companies in entertainment, healthcare, and hospitality. She moderated focus groups and interviews, designed research protocols, and fostered collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure unparalleled client experiences.

Prior, Hutchinson worked for CBS as an art coordinator for The Drew Barrymore Show. She has also worked as a documentary filmmaker.

Hutchinson graduated with honors from Bard College, double majoring in film production and historical studies. During college, she interned at an NGO in Berlin, Germany, where she focused on digital safety for human rights defenders. Additionally, she spent one year in AmeriCorps, where she discovered her affinity for collaborating with children and organizations dedicated to social causes.

Hutchinson is based in Brooklyn, New York.
